In case you are unfamiliar with the term, dry hire refers to hiring items you deal with yourself, almost on a DIY basis. So rather than having us come and deliver, set up, and take away our venue dressing equipment and décor items, you can now use our services to pick and choose what you need and want, take closer control of your event, and save money in the process.
Dry hire is cheaper since we don’t provide any additional services alongside our equipment; we merely provide the items you’ve booked, and it’s up to you to arrange and use them how you see fit.
Of course, we will still give you a quick demo for more technical items to ensure you know how to use them safely and correctly, but our focus is on making our service as quick, easy, and hassle-free as possible.
In short, we’ll make the equipment available, you come and collect it, and then all you need to do is drop it back off after you’re done.

What Are the Advantages and Drawbacks of Dry Hire Services for Event Styling and Venue Dressing?
The primary benefit of hiring the equipment on a “dry” basis is that it’s cheaper since no additional services are involved – it’s equipment rental only.
You also get more freedom to pick and choose precisely what you want. Let’s say none of our preset wedding packages work for your specific venue. In that case, you can use our equipment to pick and choose the perfect package that works for you.
The downside is that you have to set everything up yourself, and you’re in charge of operating equipment such as mood lighting and PA systems. Our dry-hire event equipment is straightforward, so you shouldn’t worry about this too much. Still, it’s something to consider if you’ve never used items such as PA speakers or wireless microphones before.
Lastly, you need to pack everything up and return it to White Events once your event is finished rather than have us come and pick it up.
